When we arrived in the hotel, we were a bit unpleasantly surprised because it was worn out. The first glance at the room was fine. The bathroom seemed OK, toilet seat was new and so was the shower curtain in the room 11. But then I saw the bathroom window and the blinds. They were disgusting. I don't understand the...

We spent £65 for ones nights accommodation, it was very average and had a slight 'dingy' feel to it. The staff were nice and breakfast was lovely! Overall, not a great stay for the money paid, we won't be returning!

If you want to try living in a slum. Go for it! Beyond disgusting, mouldy smelly could not contemplate eating in such a foul place so missed breakfast. I felt that Booking Com had ruined my stay by offering this disgusting place. The notes were nearly all lies.

Pros: The staff was very polite, approachable and helpful. The free wi-fi signal was fantastic. Cons: Stained carpet and walls. Cobwebs and wallpaper hung over the bed. Paint was heavily chipped. The bath and sink was stained also. The walls were very thin as you could here the people next door. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are on a...

We booked on the strength of the 3 star trip advisor rating but should have read the reviews in detail. First the positives: Welcome was excellent and very friendly. The cooked breakfast was superb as was the efficiency and friendliness of the lady who was serving. Parking and location was a bonus as it is so close to the centre...

This hotel didn't live up to the photos at all. Really needs some updating and care. Starting from the outside some windows boarded up and some glass panels missing, paint flaking off the building and everything really mucky and generally uncared for. Dated, thread-bare carpet in reception which continue into a room that smelt fusty and like damp. In the...

We had a family room (3 adults, 2 double beds) and having read the negative reviews were not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised! Room was a good size, clean, everything worked. TV, wifi was good, shower worked great and beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and definitely the highlight and the location was fab. No issues with...

On arrival to the hotel we were not asked for any details or proof of purchase and were taken directly to room. On entering the room I quickly jumped into the shower as I was very warm after walking up the hill , to my surprise the drain didn't drain properly so I nearly flooded the bathroom , after this...

Hotel is not what you see in the pics. It was dirty, carpet was very worn in bedrooms, some lights did not work. Furniture was broken in the room. Had to move rooms on the second day.. staff moved our bags over when we were out which was great. However the front door was constantly open n the key to...
