The Premier Inn Swansea City Centre is lauded for its central location, allowing guests to easily explore nearby attractions on foot, and the friendly service that often enhances visitors' stays. The rooms are typically described as spacious and clean, with effective soundproofing against the bustling main road, though some guests have encountered noise from a nearby nightclub and minor housekeeping oversights.
Despite occasional comments on costly parking, many find the hotel to offer good value for a comfortable and convenient stay.

We stayed in this Premier Inn for one night due to attending an event in Wind Street that would finish early hours to save us a fortune in taxi costs home. The room was spacious, had every amenity you expect to find in a Premier Inn and the bathroom was spotless. We had plenty of towels and extra pillows in our room, and it was the first Premier Inn we have visited where the window opened (albeit slightly) which made a difference! The reception staff were extremely friendly. If you arrive back past 11pm, be expected to be questioned by security, but this is purely due to the location - we arrived back at about 3:30/4:00am and had no issues with this, it was quick and easy.
We'll definitely be booking to stay again if attending a late night event in Wind Street!

We stayed on Christmas night. It was quiet. We had a smooth check in and apart from not being able to access any soft drinks or water, as machine was broken. (We were told to drink the tap water), all was fine. Had hot bath . Watched tv , fell asleep. Darkened Curtains meant we slept until 10.45am! Perfect nights sleep. Thank you

Once you have found the Premier Inn the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - but - with the one way system and pedestrianisation of some streets plus confusing signs to the Inn, it is hard to find ! The entrance is very inconspicuous under an arch up an alley and it is impossible to get to it by car. The brown signs to Premier Inn lead you to a dead end tantalisingly close to the entrance alleyway ( covered in grafitti ) but unless you are prepared to go up into the VERY expensive carpark on the left, there is no-where to park. We retraced our tracks and eventually parked in the St David's Car Park and walked the five minutes back to the hotel with our luggage. This carpark belongs to Swansea Council and you can pay in advance ÂŁ5.00 for 24 hours, the app is called MiPermit or you can do it through their website. The room we had was a lovely big size with good sound insulation from road outside, it was the usual PI comfort standard. The location is great for all the bars and restaurants and to walk down to the marina.

We stayed at the Premier Inn in Swansea City Centre for 4 nights. Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is on a busy main road, but the triple glazed windows keep out all the noise and the curtains are proper blackout ones. Most impressive was the way the catering staff provided a properly gluten-free breakfast.

The bathroom vent badly needed cleaning but everything else was clean and the front desk staff very friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent within walking distance to all transit hubs, the beach and other attractions. Our room overlooked some of the bars/restaurants and if the window was open it was noisy late at night. With the window closed it was fine. I would stay here again.

Staff were very accommodating and added 3rd bed for my 3rd child, held our bags for us securely before check in and were very helpful with local knowledge. Hotel was very quiet and carpark was next door. We didn’t get to eat there but will definitely stay again. Hotel is close to the main town centre and across the road from the winter wonderland.

Great Location in the city centre, the NCP Car park was very convenient, although quite pricey (ÂŁ13.99 overnight).
As you would expect from a Premier Inn we had a comfortable room and the bed was the good quality Premier Inn bed and bedding.
The only down side for us was our room backed onto the local Night Club and even when the window was shut, the thudding made for a restless night. Had we had a good quality sleep I would have awarded 4 stars.
The breakfast was good choice of food and good value for money.

The location of the hotel is RIGHT by all the bars and clubs, so it is easy to walk to anywhere you want in Swansea. However, if you have the window open, you WILL get a lot of noise from outside. And the room was so hot that we had to have the window open - the 'aircon' only goes down to 19 degrees. If you are staying during hot weather, make sure you are on a lower floor as the heat rises a lot through the hotel.

The room was newly renovated and everything exceeded my expectations. Especially the level of quietness, we couldn't hear any sound at all (including no sound from other toilet pipes). I am also satisfied with the cleanliness. Staff friendly and helpful.

Stayed 1 night in Feb 24 Good - city centre location as the end of nightclub street, easy reception experience, bloke doing watering for evening meal and breakfast was polite and helpful, room clean Bad - the 1st floor restaurant is poor - minimalist evening menu of processed food. Breakfast slightly better but no decaff tea bags and very limited continental breakfast.
If you need a premier inn in Swansea, Swansea North is considerably better than Swansea waterfront which is better than Swansea city

There is a car park just at the corner of the hotel. It is a NCP car park but it's really cheap and free after 6pm on a weeknight up to 9.00am the following morning. Saturday and Sunday's are all exceptionally reduced. I suspect to bring people into Swansea for shopping purposes.

I think irons are one of those things that are 'available on request' in most Premier Inn hotels i.e. either have an iron/ironing board room or have to ask at reception. (Confess did not use one when we stayed in Swansea).
There are more places to choose from in the Swansea area.
