This hotel is not wheelchair friendly, from parking in a multi storey (lift not working). We had to walk down the ramp to the car park where it clearly states no pedestrians. Hotel staff were less than helpful with this. Once in the hotel, we couldnt get round the corridors properly as they are very narrow and not suitable for wheelchairs, especially if the cleaners leave their trolleys in the corridor. We asked for a disabled accessible room, and didnt get what we hoped for. The bath was supposed to be lowered, it wasnt. It was very narrow and difficult to put a shower stool in a bath. The advert said that we would have an adjustable bed, it was a standard, very low bed. The pillows were flat and the bed was very uncomfortable. The cleaners took our bin and never returned it.

All the expected positives of Premier Inn chain, in a great central location, and at £35 p/n booked just 4 days before arrival. As reported by others, staff were all very helpful and efficient. Note that there is currently no vehicular access to the hotel, even for drop off. Best to use The Strand Car Park (about 3 mins walk) where, if you need to leave your car throughout your stay, you can do so for £4 (£2 after 0930 to 2359, then £2 anytime after 1800 until 1000 next morning). If staying in Swansea again, we would not even bother to look elsewhere.

We arrived here last week, swift check in service, efficient, friendly and informative. Rooms were bright, airy and clean. Large style, we had a nice view over the buildings to the front. Slight criticisms: Extractor fan didn't work in the Bathroom and escalator is slow to arrive - not major enough to take away from the stars. Small things. Check out was simple, would recommend and stay here again.

Having never stayed at this particular branch of Premier Inn, we were a bit concerned when we arrived that we would not get decent rest as it is slap bang next to several drinking establishments. However, we were very pleasantly surprised at how exceptionally soundproof the triple glazed windows were in buffering out the noise. The room we were allocated was very clean and spacious. The member of staff that checked us in was very friendly - accommodating us in our requirements relating to room location. The hotel itself is very conveniently located for both the train station and coach station. Whilst a budget hotel without any real luxuries, based on our recent stay and experience, we would have no hesitation in coming back and booking to stay at Premier Inn Swansea City Centre.
