Attended a wedding here and I cannot fault anything about the day. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. We were staying overnight and while the room was spacious and clean we found the mattress too hard and the rooms too hot which was such a shame as we never heard a noise the whole night. It...

This was not a good experience but the tariff was relatively low. Our interaction with the reception staff ranged from indifferent to careless. The bedroom was poor and badly in need of refurbishment. One of the bedside lockers was missing, one of the bedside lights was not working, you had to press the toilet handle a few before it worked...

It's a fairly traditional menu and it's done very well indeed. We treat ourselves to a meal here every month, usually on a Sunday for the enormous roast dinner, 'cos it's a...

I've recently returned from a 1x night stay @ The Beechlawn House hotel, when I arrived the hotel/Resturant was very busy, always a good sign when you are not sure where to stay. Check-in was very quick, rooms very hot but not a bad size. Food was good and had the choice to sit in the bar and watch the...

Have been here twice in the past month, the first time the food was pleasant the second not so much. Oddly it was the same dish Chicken carbonara, the first meal was creamy and delicious, the second was pasta swimming in liquid, I needed a spoon. The service is ok, not overly friendly but competent. The food is overpriced considering...
