Global Village is a uniquely awesome experience. Nestled by the university and in walking distance to downtown sights and all the bars and food on Botanic it's more like sharing a flat with a bunch of diverse best friends than a paid room. Much of the staff lives in and provides a base group that travelers are welcomed into so...

The rooms are ok, a 15min walk to the center, quiet neighborhood. The personal is very polite and helpfull, they organize a lot of social activities. Beware: if you pay with a card, you pay more. I would totally recommend to stay there!

I've stayed at Global Village twice now (once in the summer of 2015 and once last week) and it was great both times! The hostel is very well located and the facilities are nice. The staff is incredibly helpful and creates a really friendly environment. This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in anywhere, and I'd recommend it...

We ended up here by accident and how lucky we did. Great location, free street parking, nice room and amazing, helpful staff. Mark is the owner and is happy to give a local's advice on what to see, where to go and also a local' s view on Northern Ireland's "troubles " and the dramatic changes happening here. What a...

This was a lovely hostel--great community and friendly environment. The location was on the edge of the city, near the university, but most sights and activities were easily accessible on foot. The accommodations were clean even though it was a room shared with many people.

It is a really good hostel, which is clean and confortable. All the staff is friendly with a special mention to JP (haha pour la bouteille, faudra que tu revienne pour qu'on partage si jamais). I have spent great time in this hostel which is not too huge and impersonal, but not too small neither. Has permitted me to met...

My time at Global Village was brief, but fantastic! The people who work here are wonderful and take the time to fully help you figure out what to do in Belfast and where to go see. The kitchen is well equipped with free pasta noodles that you can use, as long as your bring your own sauce/extra stuff. The artwork...

This place was awesome. First hostel I've stayed in, and I was hesitant at first, but I'm so glad my sister and I chose to stay here. The staff was extremely helpful with everything they did, and were super friendly. The place was clean, and the staff was constantly cleaning up, making beds, and always being helpful. Also, it wasn't...

I have travelled all across Europe and this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. Staff are friendly (shout out to the girl with the shoulder tattoo and coloured hair, sorry I can't spell your name) who helped me switch rooms and sort my luggage out. Pros: social atmosphere, beer pong and pool, breakfast, safe, locks available,...

This place was absolutely wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and tons of fun. They always had something organized to keep people busy in the evening, whether it was a beer pong tournament, movie night, etc. Most of the guests seemed to be between the ages of 18-30, and of the three nights we were there, two of them...
