The facilities were great and the staff are the best people I've met abroad. Stayed there for two nights. The first night I needed somewhere to eat and they recommended a wicked place, so that's definitely another strong point of the experience. The second night I was shown an amazing Irish pub with great live music and dancing. Can't wait...

The Hostel was full of loud sloppy drunk kids who screamed all night until 4am. Unless you want that type of environment, I would highly advise against this place. If you are a young kid looking to party all night, then it may be the place for you. Staff did not care about noise level and did nothing to address...

Good location but can be unsafe at night. Staff were overly keen to drink and party with customers when they were working- man was a bit sleazy from south Africa. Kitchen was too small- no where to eat. Couldn't sleep due to partying til 5am every night. Not very helpful with directions or recommendations of tours. The bathrooms never had...

Global Village was one of my favorite for atmosphere within the hostel. The quality of the room and bathrooms needed help and the room was really hot at night and the free wifi was nil but it was all worth it because of the people. They had social events going every night whether it was drinking games, movie night, or...

I originally only planned on 2 nights but due to the high standard I stayed 4! Its hard to say what most stands out about GV. The hostel staff are fun, friendly AND professional all at the same time. The hostel is also very modern and clean and the breakout areas are modern, comfie and full of things to do...

Great time in this hostel, props to tat for general hilariousness. Pool table/beer pong was wicked. Good WiFi, big rooms, large kitchen/lounge, instruments, and an awesome vibe. I stayed in the lagan backpackers the night before and the only downside to global village was the standard hostel breakfast. Awesome time! Will definitely reccomend. -the Canadian with the hat

Great place. Not exactly super close to the center of Belfast but it's only about a 10-15 minute walk. What makes this place great is the availability and friendliness of the staff. During my stay, the staff took us on a free pub crawl to authentic Irish pubs, not disco techs. Obviously where the locals went to drink beer and...

This hostel was the best we encountered on our trip through Ireland. The friendly staff not only has connections to a travelling agency, which offers daytrips to the Giant's Causeway or Game of Thrones tours for enthusiasts, they also organize events like walking tours or whiskey tastings. Our room probably was one of the smaller ones, yet gave us enough...
