Had a really nice stay here, very homely feel to the place. Kate and her hubby are very nice people, who gave us a very large room at very short notice.Rooms were very clean and there was a choice of breakfasts available, The B and B is very conveniently located for the Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum, and the city...

Owned by a lovely woman who made room for us on such a short notice. Took the time to speak to us, tell us directions and places we might like to see. Learned our names and asked us about our day. No curfew or asked to keep our ID which was a big thing as I only had my passport....

Kate herself is lovely. Husband leaves a lot to be desired! If this place was to close down its because of him. He was condescending, rude and treated us like children when we accidently walked into the front room thinking it was a communal area. We paid £50 for one night for myself and husband. For £50 we only got...

First let me say, my fiancé and I stayed here not because we planned it but because our hostel cancelled our reservation without notifying us. Thus when we arrived our hostel booked us a room at this B&B. Kate is a very nice woman, and her husband was always very nice to us as well. Although at one point during...

Stayed here for a 1 night (luckily only overnight) as part of a Paddywagon tour. The entrance and ground floor looked decent. I was put in a single room on the top floor (attic), and what a shock I had when I went into the room. The floor was dirty and was definitely not cleaned for god knows how many...

I rang to book a room ad was asked where I was from. On response I explained I am Irish and my boyfriend who is visiting from England has not been to Ireland before. He is originally from Romania. I was then told "theres a centre down the road where they can say" to which I replied, "sorry? I don't...

Carpets black and worn through to the backing, furniture held together with duct-tape, a bad smell hits you at the front door and bacon burnt precisely not to your liking for breakfast. All in all a very terrible place to stay. I thank my lucky stars it was only an overnight stop.

Myself and my partner along with our two friends stayed at kates at the weekend just past. After being messed about by the guesthouse we had booked originally I was glad to see a friendly face. The room was lovely and the bed comfortable and her breakfast was gorgeous. Id definitely recommend it

Kate is very lovely and helpful person, we really felt ourselves welcome. Breakfast was good and Kate noted my vegetarian friend. We two got a lovely British stylish room for four. There was a shower in a room but toilet was in the corridor. Room was not that clean but still I can warmly recommend this place. Caution, you can...

“Go somewhere else. I ended up at the Vagabonds Hostel on University Road. They were very friendly, relaxed, and hospitable - a very welcome contrast to the rudeness and aggressive behaviour at Kate's B&B.”
