Kate is very lovely and helpful person, we really felt ourselves welcome. Breakfast was good and Kate noted my vegetarian friend. We two got a lovely British stylish room for four. There was a shower in a room but toilet was in the corridor. Room was not that clean but still I can warmly recommend this place. Caution, you can...

The B&B was nice, and Kate and her husband were friendly; the location was good as well. The breakfasts were great. But although it was advertised as nonsmoking, the common areas and our rooms smelled of smoke, which really bothered my daughter and me. As long as that isn't a problem for you, I recommend it based on the other...

I stayed at this B&B before and was treated with utmost friendliness and hospitality by Kate. I have since recommended the B&B to many people, but never again. I returned on Weds 15 Jan 2014. The gentleman who answered the door, who I presume was Kate's husband, was rude and unfriendly to me from the start, making repeated personal and...

Stayed at Kate's for a weekend. It is definitely not a contemporary boutique hotel. Its a local Belfast B&B in the university area of town. The decor is quite tired and has a very personal feel to it. But service is very friendly and the price is very reasonable. Kate is very accommodating to any requests. But I did have...

I am late in posting this as my husband and I stayed with Kate and her husband in early June of this year (2013). We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was at the back of the B&B so quiet at night; the shower was in the room which was convenient; the bathroom...

I recently stayed here for the weekend , whilst I went sight seeing in Belfast. Kate instantly makes you feel welcome and it's like staying at your Nanas. She's lovely and always makes sure your needs are taken care of, only thing you need to do is ask and she will help. The location is great , only a 15...

My partner and I stayed at Kate's for two nights in the summer in this quaint and welcoming bed & breakfast. Our double room was very homey. It was an average size as far as B&B rooms go and it is decorated delightfully as if it were a bedroom and not a hotel. Our room was not en-suite, but the...

During a sponetaneous trip to Belfast, we happen to stumble upon Kate's B&B after seeing it walking down the street. Kate was very friendly and personable. Our room was on the second floor with a shower inside and toilet in the hall. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and almost more than we could eat! The home is very...

At Kate's B&B is one of the most welcoming place I have ever stayed. It is very close to the city center, just 10 minutes on walk. It is a small establishment, but it is perfect place to just relax and charge your batteries after a full day of visiting Belfast.

You would not want to live in any other B&B or hotel around Belfast if you'd experience the homeliness of Kate's B&B. I've never felt as welcome and as at home in any other hotel or B&B in all my years of travel. Kate and Clem are such kindly and understanding folks. They're friendly, honest, sincere and truly want nothing...

“Go somewhere else. I ended up at the Vagabonds Hostel on University Road. They were very friendly, relaxed, and hospitable - a very welcome contrast to the rudeness and aggressive behaviour at Kate's B&B.”
