We stayed here two weeks ago. Got a great welcome for the owner. Barkley the owner is very friendly and is what the tourist industry needs more of. He spends genuine time with his guests and helps them with the plans for the trip around the Antrim coast.Excellent food and great value for money. Well done Barkley. We will be... More

We had a great time visiting Ballycastle and staying at this B and B. Berkeley is just lovely and thoughtful. His home is wonderful and clean. This place offered us a social outlet while still having privacy. We loved our breakfast and our day trips to the rope latter and Giant Causeway.

My partner and I visited overnight w/c 1 August. Plenty of parking was available for her car on street and on site. Room (5) was quite nice but bed will squeak at certain times... Power of the shower isn't great but perfectly adequate and it works well. The water was fine, too. The TV in the bedroom can take some... More

This was our second stay here. We had room 5 on both occasions and couldn't be happier with the room and facilities. The room is clean, light and comfortable. The breakfast was good on both mornings and the owner was again very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We asked for recommendations for dinner as it was our anniversary and he was... More

My family and I stayed in An Caislean when we were visiting the Antrim Coast. It was absolutely perfect. First of all, the BnB is located perfectly between the beach/marina area and the town centre. In it's location, it is also just a quick walk from the door to the corner where the bus leaves for major cities in NI... More

My review is a tad different to the others. Let me say that there was nothing inherently wrong with it. The owner was friendly and helpful. However, the room was very small - which I suspect is why I'm giving it an average rating, given what I paid. However it was quite comfortable and clean.

Many thanks you for review. Just to advise that online bookings can tend to be more expensive than email/telephone bookings - and prices are also a little higher when demand is high, such as public holidays (applicable on this occasion). More

We stayed her in May/June when we were in Ireland visiting family, our room was lovely and clean, the service provided by the owners was first class, parking was also provided and the breakfasts were great too. We will definitely be returning to the An Caislean when we stay in Ballycastle again!

It was a sheer joy to stay here in May (located on the street leaving the coast to the town). The house is a beautiful period building that has been renovated to excellent standard. It is impeccably clean and the beds are super comfy with beautiful cotton linen. The host Berkeley was just great and there to offer any advice... More

Myself and my friend stayed in a beautiful room here last August at the start of our holiday around the Causeway coastline. I had read some lovely reviews online already, and shared those thoughts on meeting the hosts. I felt at home the minute I walked in the door. We were given a choice of two rooms, and opted for...
