We struggled to find a place to stay in Downpatrick-Newcastle on a Saturday night but John was welcoming and the room and ensuite is lovely, well furnished and designed. Great breakfast in the morning with an excellent variety of choices (try the mushroom omelette with fresh eggs from the chooks out the back!). Thanks John!

Myself, my fiance and our cockapoo Buster stayed here for one night as we had a wedding nearby to attend. We checked in between the service and reception after travelling fairly far, and so didn't have much time. Stayed here for one night. Greeted and shown to our room. Room was very nice and comfortable. Good en-suite bathroom, TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Owner very pleasant. Fantastic breakfast. Very close to town centre and promenade. Very nice B&B. Would recommend to friends.

Therea and John made us and our dog feel very welcomed on our stay. The room and amenities were good. The breakfast was very good and they provided a lot of choice. We would stay there again and would recommend to friends.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of August. Our dog was able to stay with us as this is B&B is pet friendly, which I believe is an asset. John was very welcoming and a very good host.
