Reviews were good and photos looked lovely but when we arrived the place was not very well maintained. Inside, rooms were very dusty and, again, not very well maintained. There were dogs roaming feee and also in the kitchen where breakfast was being prepared. We had to leave early as my mum became poorly and one of the dogs bit...

We stayed here last Saturday night as we were attending a wedding in the town. Excellent bed and breakfast. Peter and Rosie are a lovely, friendly couple. The house is fantastic with a beautiful sea view. Had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was first class!! freshly cooked! Rosie makes her own jams, marmalade and lemon curd...

We stayed for one night during our visit to Newcastle. The room was very comfortable and very clean and the bed and pillows were excellent! We had an incredibly good nights sleep after our journey across from Scotland. The hosts are a lovely couple and provided an excellent service. Breakfast was also delicious. We would highly recommend it!

We're just back from a very relaxing two night stay at this delightful home with spectacular views, great hosts and their lovely pets. Our three kids thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their stay here. The room was very homely and nicely decorated with really comfy beds - we slept really well and are very well rested after a busy weekend...

We enjoyed our stay and Rosie was the perfect hostess.I am not keen on sky lights for the bedroom, but it worked for us it was a beautiful moonlight night and the moon shone in our room and made it magical. The breakfast was something to die for lashings of food. All in all a nice place to stop.

A very warm welcome. 3 beautiful dogs who are very friendly. Great location. The view from this beautiful house is breathtaking. We were in one of the upstairs bedrooms which was beautiful. A king sized bed and a single was just right for our needs and VERY COMFY. There were blackout blinds in the windows too which only went on...

Friendly and generous hosts. Comfortable house kept spotlessly clean. While they have dogs, none of the three alergic members of my family had as much as a sniffle. The setting is beautiful, with a wonderful view of the bay. The tasty and generous breakfast kept us going throughout the day. And Rosie was kind enough to provide some top tips...

Rosie and Peter gave us a warm welcome even though we weren't expected and we realised that we had left a bag containing money, passport etc an hour and a half back in Drogheda. Our panic dissolved. Rosie took control and phoned the Garda and found the number of the pub where we had left the bag.Luckily the intact bag was ready...

We were in dire need of lodging and were blessed to find Rosie and Pete's location. From their dogs to the geese and the turkey that visited us for breakfast, this is just a one of a kind place. We had the entire top floor and after a very long day of traveling, could not have asked for better accommodations....
