My wife and I booked out the self-catering, 4 bedroom lodge for ourselves and some friends. It was terrific. Cosy and well facilitated. Perfect for a few days of self-catered relaxation. A short and cheap taxi trip to nearby Derry as well. The hosts were also great. Helpful, courteous and pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommended!

Everything was great, food, people, room, and even the sheep outside :) We liked the place alot and would stay there again. Londonderry is a nice city. The landscape in this region is incredible. Malins Head (most northern point) is well worth the visit. Greetings, Daniel and Börje

Well once again, we visited the lovely Elaghvale Lodge, on the Upper Galliagh Road in Derry. And once again the beauty and tranquillity of the area, and the wonderful friendly welcome received from the Heaney family, was a true joy, and an enormous tonic to us all. It’s location, makes access to both Derry , and Donegal perfect. The house...

We stayed at the self catering lodge for three nights. The room we booked was nice and spacious with a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well very equipped and we had everything we needed. In the shared living room there was a Tv with a Dvd player, nice to relax after a hiking day. The house was located closely to...

Anne went out of her way to make our stay possible and to make us feel at home. We stayed in a nice big clean room with gorgeous views in the distance of a hilltop fort and Donegal and nearer views of the sheep and caravan park. I even spotted mischievous sheep greeting the morning by escaping into the campground/caravan...

This B&B has a lovely countryside feel to it , spectacular views from the living / breakfast room, but still close enough to the city of Derry. Large, airy and clean rooms and a memorable breakfast. Anne gave a great example of Irish hospitality at it's best.
