On our recent trip to Ireland, we decided to venture further north into Northern Ireland. We booked a one night stay at Beech Hill. Wished it had been longer. The minute we pulled into the drive, we know we had found a gem. Beautiful setting- you have to take a stroll around the grounds- they are lovely. We were met...

From the moment you push the latch and enter through the front door you immediately feel welcomed and remembered if you have visited before. The staff are wonderful and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. We had an excellent room; bright and very comfortable. Although we didn't stay for dinner on this occasion, we have enjoyed dining...

From checking in to leaving our stay was fab. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty with a great choice and dinner was very enjoyable. Bedroom was extremely spacious with excellent storage, spotless and a lovely comfortable bed. The hotel grounds are very nice although it was raining and we didn't get to really investigate them. All...

On our third trip to Ireland, last month we were taken to dinner at Beech Hill Country House in Derry. This place is the best kept secret in Northern Ireland. We enjoyed the best meal, and the best service in our entire stay in Ireland. Our host thought that we would appreciate the history of Base One Europe, and indeed...

We had been looking forward to our recent break here as the reviews were good. However, the reality did not live up to expectations at all. There was a lot of noise from work that was going on and breakfast was very disappointing. There is a dark haired Eastern European girl who could really do with a lesson or two...

We had a really relaxing 2-day break, with dinner on 1 evening. The meal was outstanding, local produce, beautifully cooked. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the hotel goes out of its way to make you feel at home - very individual, not at all corporate. Nice walks in the hotel grounds; great location, near to North Antrim coast,...

Myself, my grandparents, my mother, brother and fiancé stayed here for a weekend break. The staff were so polite and beyond helpful as soon as we arrived, helping my elderly grandparents with their luggage as we were on a lower floor that could be reached with an elevator. The hotel itself is stunning, the grounds are absolutely beautiful with acres...

This trip was a Christmas present from one of our family. So glad we booked this weekend on Travelzoo. On arrival the receptionist saw us to our rooms and when she discoveredI had issues with stairs rapidly changed us to one on the same level as the elevator. I'm not sure I have ever slept in as big and comfortable...

The Beech Hill Country House Hotel has a rich history. It was constructed in 1739 and originally served as the home of Thomas Skipton and his descendants. It was transformed into a 20-room hotel in 1991 by Patsy O'Kane and her brother, Seamus Donnelly. Ten more rooms were added in 2000. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The room we...
