We stayed over three days in this lovely modern hotel. Staff were always smiling and polite. Rooms were spacious and had a wet room. Wi Fi free. Excellent coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast was great. Had one evening meal in the hotel which we thought was not only reasonable, but well cooked and perfectly served. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Funky, modern room with great TV, fast Wifi (~15Mb/sec) ideal for remote working. The shower is a treat, and the cooked breakfasts were excellent (if a little small for my greed level). In my front-of-the-building exec room, the noise of the city was obvious, simply due to geography. Highly recommended overall.

I've stopped here several times over the years. Hotel is located centrally in Aberdeen, great value for money and the best shower I've ever had !!!! Fantastic breakfast. Will always stay here whenever I'm in Aberdeen.

We stayed at the Bauhaus for the weekend, and can on the whole only say good things about it. It's very close to the city centre with all the bars and restaurants easily within walking distance. Be aware however that the hotel doesn't have any parking facilities, but there is ample parking on the streets around the hotel, which you...

We spent 3 nights here, but would have swapped hotels after the first night if we could have. We were on the 5th floor, and whilst the corridor and main reception were cool, our room was overbearingly hot. The window opened only slightly and the little air it allowed in brought with it the never ending screech of seagulls. The...

The Bauhaus is situated close to Union street and many of its restaurants, pubs and shopping outlets. The hotels exterior is modern, however a little less spectacular than its rivals close by. The common area situated around the entrance includes a bar/reception with tables and sofas dotted about. It is modern and relaxed but lacks atmosphere in my opinion. The...

Fancied a weekend away and tried Aberdeen for a change, Bauhaus was a great choice room was clean, modern and spacious the staff were very friendly and helpful overall good value for money only drawback in my opinion would be that at times our room was a bit hot with no sign of air con, however there was a rather...

First time in Aberdeen for many years, therefore used on-line search and came up with the Bauhaus. Certainly no regrets. Upgraded to suite on 5th floor with all the facilities you could wish for (even an ironing board for the masochistic among us), resilient wifi, free bottled water, Krups coffee-maker and feisty shower in a large-ish wet-room. Only gripe was...

The Bauhaus Hotel is a nice accommodation in the heart of Aberdeen. The rooms were very clean and modern and exceeded my expectations for a three star hotel. While centrally located, the neighborhood may give you pause, but it turned out to be fine. Public parking is located across the street and was fairly cheap considering.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time now and am delighted that the high standards have been maintained. I was warmly welcomed at reception and made my way to the Standard room I booked. The room was clean and there were a few luxury touches added like the nespresso coffee maker and smart tv. There was no bath...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, our contemporary, iconic granite building opened its doors in November 2009. Located very close to Union Street, the hotel provides easy access to the city's shops, nightlife and sights. We recognise that style and flair for design need not break the bank. Our yummy cocktails, fabulous linen, flat screen TVs, free WiFi, luxurious Aveda bathroom products, all help to redefine the urban hotel experience in Aberdeen. It is the first high quality, no fuss, value-for-money boutique hotel in town. ... more   less
