Having lived in Aberdeen for 15 years, some 20 years ago I remember the Craighaar as a good place to eat. Having stayed last week I think it probably better to eat there than stay there ! There is now a proliferation of hotels around the airport so you have a choice - the problem with the Craighaar is that...

We went to Craighaar 3 weeks ago and enjoyed the experience so much we chose the venue for our Valentines Dinner. Excellent food and service. The dessert menu was a real winner. Rooms we're clean and comfortable. We will be back

This hotel has a very good restaurant with good food, the rooms are comfortable and clean. It is quite handy for Aberdeen Airport, a five minute taxi ride away. Don't expect to have a lie-in though, because as soon as the planes and helicopters start moving in the morning, they tend to wake you up. All in all its as...

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis! I can not fault the place! Staff food & rooms are excellent! I would recommend this place to all! Well placed for the airport (short taxi journey). Plenty car parking.

I always book the Craighaar whenever I'm in Aberdeen. Comfortable rooms, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have never been disappointed with the restaurant food and the breakfast is my favourite. Ample parking at the hotel, which is important. It's a home from home for me.

Lovely helpful staff at the hotel. Had a family lunch for 15 in the library. The room was perfect and decorated by the staff. Nice menu and food was good. Thoroughly recommend for a private small function.

I arrived late and went straight to get something to eat. The waitress was rude and had no knowledge of the menu and no product knowledge. Had to send back my cheese and biscuits 2 times and still not gluten free as listed on the menu. I finally gave in, and took my wine to my room to watch tv....

Helpful staff. Good food and beverages. Busy with oilfield personnel and helicopter crews. Airport noise shuts down between 11pm and 7am. Easy access to highways and bus service to central Aberdeen and mainline rail station. Scenic drives to Buchan, Coastal towns and Deeside.

Could be good but little things let it down. The steak I had for my tea was perfect, the onion rings and mushrooms didn't look freshly cooked, the loaded potato would have been ok if the topping was mixed in with the potato, it wasn't which meant it was very dry. The room was nice and bathroom recently refurbed by...
