Great venue (I was actually married here) and very well set out for the event but a sour taste was left by the bar prices. At over £6 for a vodka coke and over £7 for a rum and ginger I feel that they are taking advantage of a captive audience. The rest of the guests that I spoke to...

I stayed here one night, midweek, everything was top notch. All of the staff were great and truly cared about the quality of my stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I totally enjoyed my stay, a perfect nights sleep with a fabulous served breakfast. The hotel is easily accessible for RGU and the city centre.

I was taken here today with friends for an afternoon tea for my birthday. Fab sandwiches and cakes. Lovely hotel, coal fires burning and nice atmosphere. Would recommend for both family and friends. They also do an afternoon tea for children.

Welcoming and friendly. Managed to get a decent price from one of the management so a good start. Reasonable sized rooms, quiet and comfy. Good bathroom and great shower. Dining room a bit dark, but good enough food to overcome any shortfalls. Good breakfast, will return.

Crackling log fires, peace and quiet and welcoming friendly staff. A very relaxing weekend with great menu in the dining room and snug bar to curl up on the sofas with a good book and a glass of wine. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Stayed over on Saturday. Had a voucher. £110 for dinner bed and breakfast. Lovely dinner, spacious room (2 singles pushed together which was not ideal) and clean. Breakfast tasty and overall very good. Check out was the only poor experience as we waited 20 mins while another guest sorted a query and in the end I just gave cash to...

Excellent two stays at this lovely hotel a little outside of the centre of Aberdeen for small conferences. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent and the bedrooms were lovely. Staff were very supportive and helped make our small training events a big success. Loved it!!
