I enjoyed a pleasant stay. The rooms were good and despite being at the font of the hotel a peaceful nights sleep was had. Showers very good and WiFi much better than expected. The breakfast was enjoyable and a great range was offered. My only improvement would be on the Front Desk. The telephone always seemed more important that the...

Stayed here at the weekend in one of the apartments and I have to say I was quite impressed. The apartment itself was nicely decorated, spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The only this I have to criticise is the TV, blinds and door. The TV is the cheapest on the market and does not even have a USB...

Stayed here with friends for a weekend. Ideal location in city centre of Aberdeen. Just a few minutes walk from train/bus station and ideal for shops, theatre etc. Warm welcome received, nice clean room and breakfast was excellent as well. We have liked it so much have booked a return visit for February.

Just returned home from a short stay at the Douglas hotel and have to say it was superb. We were a family party of 9 which was 6 adults and 3 children aged from 16 to 6. We were there for hogmany celebrations and the Aberdeen Douglas did not disappoint, Just what you wanted from a hogmany hoolie. The meal...

Stayed for 2 nights, large family group of adults and kids, for the Hogmanay party. First of all the party was absolutely brilliant, we all had a great night. Overall, the whole stay was really good, we thought the hotel was lovely and found the service from staff excellent. Good central location too. The rooms were all very nice and...

I don't want to get all critical about the NY party here; all that sentimental tartan-pipes plus 70s school disco thing really holds minimal appeal to me, but the crowd seemed to enjoy it, so who am I to tell them it is outdated tosh! The accommodation, however, was also disappointing - all I wanted was a decent big bed...

If you ever go to Aberdeen, do not hesitate, the Douglas is a fine place to go. It is well-situated, next to the ferry terminal to the Shetland yet right in the city centre. It is also very comfortable and offers an excellent breakfast.

On December 27, my wife and I stayed at the Douglas for the third time. Each visit has been timed to facilitate a hospital visit. Our first two visits were made by car, and I can foresee problems if the small car park is already full when you arrive. We were lucky. For this last visit, we used the bus...

Clean hotel and nice restaurant down stairs but not a hotel that you want to take a casual walk from. Our room was for handicap, not needed, and the bathroom was very large and only had a shower with no barrier to keep the water from flooding the hole bathroom.

Booked a suite online, reviews of hotel were good the price of the room was very reasonable at £95 b&b, unfortunately the room had noise coming in from all directions, above below, the internet speed was shocking 0.3-0.6 Mbs, breakfast was tasty although the staff seemed a bit preoccupied before showing us to our table. On the whole not bad...
