We arrived from Ottawa (Canada) to stay one night in Aberdeen and were more than pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Allan Guest House and the city itself. Our room was quiet, generously sized and beautifully designed. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was lots of fresh fruit on hand as well. Above all, our host Stuart was...

This house had clearly been retro-fitted to be a B&B, but all the adjustments had clearly been done with care for the guests' comfort. Linens and decorations were sumptuous, bathrooms large and accommodating. As with many Scottish B&Bs, there wasn't much shelf space in the bathroom, but that could be forgiven. Brenda and Stuart Cheetham clearly enjoyed hosting. They helped...

Thoughtful, modern renovation of a classic Aberdeen property gives you all the amenities of a fine hotel in a more personal setting. Comfortable furnishings, large en suite bathroom - everything is carefully considered down to high-security keys. Quiet neighborhood is a good hideaway, but downtown Aberdeen is easily accessed by car or transit. Brenda made sure we had breakfast and...

I stayed for one night after reaching Aberdeen late on the train, I walked from the station (about 20 minutes)l the hotel is located in a nice quiet residential area; the decoration of the hotel was at a very high standard and everything was immaculately clean, I was really impressed and at a really good price. Arriving late (at 10pm)...

This Bed and Breakfast is immaculate, friendly and well run. The location is very handy for the town centre and Duffy Park and yet quiet. There is plenty of parking. Beds comfortable and room fitted out to high standard. Showers good too. Breakfast is plentiful and freshly cooked.

Big, quiet and very clean rooms. Large, tasty breakfasts. Superb location within a short walk of the city centre but outside the permit parking zone. Very friendly and helpful owners who can advise on where to visit.

Fantastic welcome by Brenda and Stuart to an immaculate and highly detailed guesthouse. The guesthouse is more welcoming than a 5 star hotel from the minute you walk through the door until the minute you leave. All areas of the house are immaculately tidy and decorated to a very modern and stylish finish, from the communal halls to the bedrooms...

I have stayed twice at the Allan Guesthouse in Aberdeen, and hope to do so again. Spotlessly clean, with excellent rooms and facilities, very friendly hosts and yummy breakfast. The location is also convenient, with a lovely park nearby. Moderate walk into the city centre and good parking outside.

Very friendly guest house. Decorated to a high standard, a good breakfast, vegetarians catered for, everything you need for a comfortable stay in Aberdeen. The hotel is located next to the Winter Gardens which are well worth a visit and is an easy walk to the centre of town. Overall I couldn't fault this excellent establishment.
