Had a venison burger which arrived just in a bun with nothing else inside it - and even the burger was burnt. Girlfriends haggis burger was a little better as it had something else inside it, however they'd burnt her burger too. For a £10 burger meal of mine and £15 haggis burger, the standard should be a whole lot... More

Lovely place to go for a meal, food presented lovely also we didn't want the chilly gravy but was offered gravy instead, haven't had that before, usually if you don't want what comes with the meal you don't get offered anything else, excellent. Food was hot as was plates so would recommend highly. Only downside for me was no table... More

Arrived late at night and was greeted by a friendly member of staff and check in was zero hassle. Comfortable and clean room with loads of space. The breakfast menu had plenty of choice at both the buffet and on the menu. Service was friendly and fast, the food was good. Checkout was again zero hassle. Pleasurable stop over.

Took this as the Hotel I normally stay at was booked out. Price was more expensive, even though booked at a discounted price. Unlike other reviews from contributors I found the rooms unacceptable considering the competition for beds in Aberdeen at the moment. The rooms are a good size and very clean but my goodness the room I had needed... More

Room 109, up a couple of flights of stairs altho bit of a maze to get there, & on going back downstairs, the main door to stairs from our floor didn't actually have a sign on it directing us (which i thought might be H&S issue). Large spacious room, loads of storage, had everything we needed and was very homely.... More

Enjoyed a very nice meal here after some shopping in town. Pleasant surroundings, prompt and friendly service. The carbonnade of beef in a red wine and garlic gravy served with parsnip crisps, rosemary potatoes and perfect fresh vegetables was delightful. The menu has plenty of variety and is very reasonably priced. Recommended!
