Couldn't have wanted for more, quiet, comfortable, fabulous breakfast, hosts great company. If you are nearby you wont find better. Lovely upstairs sitting room with great view. A good base to explore the area from.

A beautiful place for our stay in Scotland. Ann and Gordon were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were delicious , with fresh local produce . We were served pancakes every morning and bread baked by Ann.

This was my second stay at Croftsmuir Steading. The first one was in 2013 and when I was planning this trip, there was no question about staying there again. The rooms are private, quiet, and have great views. The guest living room is a wonderful place to unwind and watch the light change on the landscape as the sun sets,...

I stay at many bed and breakfasts across Scotland as I think they are a great form of hospitality and are cheaper than hotels. It was a little out of arbroath town but that just meant it was peaceful and I had better views of the beautiful countryside. And Gordon and Anne (the owners) are always talking to you and...
