A second visit since refurbishment,very accommodating staff,we thought it might be noisy,staff suggested we eat in breakfast room,which was excellent,the food is very tasty and good value,very impressed yet again
Popped in for a Lunchtime pint on a couple of occasions when visiting Carnoustie, staff were very friendly and there was a nice friendly atomosphere in the bar area. Situated close to sea and local sights for visitors.
The above heading pretty much says it all for me...better than average pub grub, reasonable surroundings and decent service.
To be fair, the better half really liked this place so worthwhile giving it a bash.
Prices were decent and quality of food was good.
Visited in August 2017 and stayed in the "Deluxe Apartment" which is approx 1 mile from the hotel. We were handed an ipad, information sheet, and keys, and given directions. There is space for a single car on site.

Work group leaving meal. To be honest food looked and tasted like microwave meals. Two of our party had to order another main course to share as there was not enough food supplied with their chicken burgers. Not very impressive.

The restaurant was part of the pub,you can book a table at the opposite end of the bar where it was slightly quieter if you prefer, the food was absolutely amazing especially the curry, well worth it and reasonably priced
