This was for a night out for a group of 24 people. Choice of starter (or desert) and main course had to be provided 1 week in advance at £20-00. Choices were limited and not altogether exciting. Coffee or tea not included and cost £2.50. Standard was not very good and some of the tables were inundated with ants from...

I’ve stayed at the hotel on various occasions and dinned more frequently during business trips I’ve always found the rooms to be warm and clean, I stayed in one of the front rooms once I experienced slight traffic noise from the motorway, other than that I can’t fault the hotel it is reasonably priced good food with plenty of dining...

Stopped on the way back from Edinburgh as we do regularly at this hotel which is normally excellent, however, todays visit was very poor indeed. Ordered the ribeye steak medium and it came well done and tuff as old boots. The special was beef olives which my wife opted for and those were shocking, uncooked in the middle and nothing...

Myself and my partner stopped here following returning from Aberdeenshire for some lunch. We opted for the café instead of the restaurant which certainly did not disappoint. Our lunch included the baked potato with coronation chicken/salad and home made soup with a filled ciabatta. Both of us were very impressed with the food, the portion size was plentiful and the...

Friday evening adult family meal, food was very tasty, lovely and hot and plenty of it, good price, those of us who had chips agreed they were the best we've ever had soft and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We were served by a young man who was new but eager to learn and Kim who...

Stopped at this establishment after a long drive. Nice swift service, good coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. Parked easily and right next to the main road so no long detours. Would not hesitate in having a break at this in the future.

I'd passed this place many times and, at last, saw an opportunity to stop and eat. What a pleasant surprise! Happy, friendly and efficient service. Decent value, too: two courses and a drink for £18 each. A great place to break a journey.

Stopped in by for some lunch and was pleasantly surprised by what was on offer. We went to the café rather than the restaurant but had a look at both menus - quite extensive! Opted for a toasted ciabatta each and coffees. Lots of choices - we went with the brie, cranberry, bacon and ham & cheese - both delicious....

Had a lovely night at this b&b, the food was at a high standard. The staff made the hotel extra special, the rooms are in top tip condition. This hotel is located right on the side of the A90, this in mind I thought the road would be heard, the room I was allocated was at the rear. I slept...

Great spot for a business traveler or holiday stopover. A welcome change from the mainstream chains. The landlord is very friendly & helpful. Always good for a chat & local advice Evening meal & breakfast great The Aberdeen Angus burger is homemade & best I've ever tasted Looking forward to a return visit.
