We stayed here for the weekend. All the staff were so friendly. Our room was lovely and clean. We had dinner here and the food was excellent. Great choices on the menu. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in this area.

What a beautiful place to spend a night, I only wish it was longer. The reception was friendly and efficient , the room was perfect and our evening meal was superb. We would highly recommend this hotel and it's restaurant. And if you like whisky, you really are in for a special treat!

This place had actually been recommended to me on Facebook for dinner and drinks by a local of the area. We were visiting from the US and this was near the last leg of the trip. The hotel restaurant was very quiet on a Monday night, but the staff were very welcoming. My husband said his burger was excellent, and...

We arrived at 15.00 and we're checked in by Flora. A pleasant, friendly woman, she advised us of the breakfast and dinner times and gave us the key to room 10. Up two flights of quiet, carpeted stairs to the second floor and wow! We found a large, family room. Lots of space and - like the bathroom - spotless....

I normally stay in large chain hotels. However after seeing an advert in a whisky magazine, I was intrigued by this hotel which boasts of a whisky bar with over 500 malts. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and it was a delightful experience. This is a small family run hotel, where you are welcomed upon arrival and...

Confession first off: this place is my 'local', but I never tire of eating out here. The welcome is so warm and friendly, the service quick and attentive, and the food is excellent. It's always freshly prepared using locally sourced meats, seafood and vegetables. The latest innovation is venison etc actually smoked on the premises. I've never had a bad...

Tourist Board on the pier recommended this place which was a short walk from the pier. We didnt stay, just went for dinner. Private hotel with amazing selection of whisky and fantastic scran. The dinner menu was reasonably priced and the food was amazingly fresh and delicious with portion size perfect. The pasta dish was the best since we had...
