Creag Dhubh was recommended to us on our trip from Skye back home. On a very stormy night we arrived to a warm welcome from Janice and Richard who had kindly lit a fire for us in the guest lounge. Comfortable night's stay with delicious breakfast after which we explored the pretty town of Inveraray. Many thanks to you both...

Creag Dhub is a beautiful house in a wonderful location. Inside it is equally outstanding. It is everything one would look for in a guest house. Spacious rooms and beautifully furnished. The hostess was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. If you have occasion to stay in Inverary. you will not do better than Creag Dhub.

This sis our second visit, and once again Janice and Richard were excellent hosts, The rooms are superb and some have excellent views of the Loch. It's only a short walk into Inveraray, which has numerous places to eat.

Janice and Richard are wonderful hosts in this comfortable, cosy, immaculate home. Excellent accommodation with lovely views over the Loch. Good, freshly prepared breakfast. We have stayed here many times and highly recommend it.

This is a small bed and breakfast situated just on the outskirts of Inveraray and run by Richard and Janice, a very charming couple. Beds were comfortable, the breakfasts cooked to order and large in quantity. The hosting informative, friendly without being intrusive. Overall, a very pleasant few days stay.

You know a visit is going to be brilliant by the first impressions. Our first impression was a stressed phone call From me after traffic problems caused us to miss our ferry to Islay. Richard and Janice were really helpful and had room to spare at the inn. It was lovely to meet them when we arrived - Richard gave...

I've been visiting here for a quarter century, and if anything, this great B&B has only improved. I hardly know, where to begin. The hosts have always been delightful, just the right amount of attention, must also, giving you privacy. The food is outstanding. The rooms and amenities are spacious, comfortable, and well thought-out. The beauty of the home and its gardens are...

Stayed for a weekend. The house was lovely in a perfect picturesque setting. Rooms were immaculate and the lounge perfect to chill with a magazine after walking around town and the castle. Richard and Janice could not do enough for us. Made us feel so at home cooked a perfect breakfast. I could not recommend this place enough.

Once again Creag Dubh was pivotal in our Scottish Tour. It's just the best B&B to stay at on the West Coast. Geographically Inverary is the perfect place to stop for the Islands and also the Highlands. From here you can drop down to Kennacraig or across to Oban or up to Ullapool. While you are here you can eat...
