We found this B&B by luck, and it was a stopover during our road trip through Scotland. We have had a lovely evening there, felt more than welcome, the host was exceptionally pleasant and chatty just enough to make us feel good. The living room downstairs was very cozy, perfect for browsing a newspaper, reading a book or for sitting...

We stayed for three nights in May and found Creag Dhubh just as lovely as on our visit two years before. Janice and Richard are great hosts, warm and friendly and very helpful and accommodating. The views of the loch are stunning and the house is only a short walk along the loch to the town centre. The room was...

Our stay in Inveraray was brief, just a stop over on the way through to the morning ferry to Islay, but we love this beautiful little town on Loch Fyne, and were looking forward to another visit. Richard and Janice are lovely, friendly hosts, and Creag Dhubh is a warm, welcoming home on the edge of the loch, with beautiful...

We only stayed one night. We found the place welcoming and spotlessly clean. There was a welcoming fire in the lounge in the evening and we were brought tea and biscuits. There is good off street parking and views over the loch are wonderful. A good place to stay although we noticed that the premises is for sale. If any...

Very friendly and warm welcome from Janice and Richard on arrival at Creag Dubh, with plenty of off-street parking. The house itself is absolutely spotless, and the cosy fire burning in the lounge very welcoming. Our room had everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed and good quality bedding. The hot chocolate was a welcome addition to the tea...

We stayed here for one night on our way to Glasgow and found it by drive by. We were made most welcome and the room was small (it was the last one available) but very clean and comfortable. The sitting room is very warm and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Recommended

We had to change our travel plans on short notice and lucky for us found a room at Creag Dhubh. Janice and Richard made us feel at home, with Richard setting us up in the beautiful, cozy lounge with a fire in the hearth, a tray of tea and biscuits and an entertaining DVD of Inveraray to watch. The room...

A lovely place run by lovely people, Richard and Janice, who are helpful, warm and friendly and serve a lovely breakfast - we were only sorry that we found it on our last night, otherwise we would have stayed longer. We can't recommend it highly enough!
