Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was great , The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful with a good bit of banter. The park is spotless and the views surrounding the place are stunning. Due to Covid all amenities at the park were closed but 2.5 miles away is the town of Inveraray which was great for food and drinks. We took the bus on our first day which was really easy and then opted to walk the path from the site straight into Inveraray. Cant wait to come back when everything is opened.
Stayed a couple of days en route to Western Isles, really enjoyed it and stayed over again in return leg of journey. Friendly staff, flexible about staying over on return trip even though we were unsure if exact dates. Touring pitches overlooking loch Fyne (beautiful) with nice dog walks tucked away behind as well as the walk to the equally stunning Inveraray. Had a great breakfast on site, can definitely recommend! The site is well cared for, clean and surprisingly quiet with good spacing between the hard standing pitches. Showers and toilets were immaculate, and all other areas equally so. Will definitely visit again
We hired 2 glamping pods with beds. They were by the sea and a small river (with small children you would need to be careful of the river as at high tide and rain it was flowing very quickly) They were clean and had multiple 3pin sockets and 2 usb ports. We brought our own electric cool box but they can be hired from the caravan park. The scenery is stunning and you are close to lots of attractions ( we did Portavadie Spa, Invereary jail and seafari) there is horse riding, laser tagging and paint balling close by at Argyll adventure. The pods are lockable and have a heater (which we didn't need as the pods were hot). There is a restaurant on site and a launderette. The toilets/showers were quite far from the pods so if you need a wee in the middle of the night it was a bit of a trek but they were clean.…
Stopped here on our tour around Argyll. This park is very large with a mixture of permanent residences, long term stays and touring plots. Despite being large, it felt very nice as it is broken up into little areas. The touring section was at the far end of the park, but overlooking the loch. Very nice. Shower block nice and clean, and they have recently installed a shower tray and hose for you to wash down your dog. There is a bar/restaurant and a games room on the site, but wasn't open during our stay. Lovely dog walking routes around the edge of the site – with boxes for poo bags. Nice site and would happily stay here again.
We booked a pod for our stay here. We booked one without beds as we had our camping gear with us. The site does not take tents. The pod was excellent with a heater, electricity with lots of sockets to charge phones etc you park your car alongside and there is a wooden bench outside each pod - showers and toilets were excellent and lovely and clean. This is a large site with a lot of caravans but the pods and touring vehicles bit is a away from the caravans allowing you a bit of space. Highly recommended stay in the pods.
