Had previously avoided this hotel in its former incarnation as the Argyll Hotel and was a little reluctant.to stay when booked by work. Pleasantly, prooved wrong from the outset. The bright and welcoming foyer and reception hints at the attention that has been paid to all public areas. Bedrooms have also been given a facelift and are warm and comfortable....

Stayed here on a groupon deal and was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The rooms were very clean, had a great view of the bay and were obviously recently refurbished. I was told that the previous owners had let the hotel go downhill in recent years and had therefore lost most of its local custom. The new management are...

A comfortable friendly hotel well situated for visiting Inveraray and the surrounding area. We stayed 3 nights for my wifes birthday and we couldn't really fault the place. The room was good and everything worked as it should. We ate 2 nights in the Lounge bar and we really enjoyed the food and service. The introduction of some real ales...

We visited midweek on a wet November evening. The choice of food on the menu was excellent as was the food itself. Table service was helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening out thanks to the combination of caring staff and excellent food.

My partner and myself were fortunate enough to have our evening meal in the Inverary Inn on Saturday 12th November 2016 and both agree it was a fantastic meal at very reasonable prices. The battered haggis i chose and the oysters chosen by my partner were both superb and great value for a quality starter. The mains of salmon for...

Stayed one night. Beautiful outlook and position. Free parking right outside. Bar is fine and food reasonable. Room was small but fine for the one night. Comfortable enough. Breakfast was fine and staff were friendly and helpful. For what we paid we were happy with what we got. For somewhere to stay whilst touring this is fine.

As one of the few choices, we spent one night and one dinner here just to visit the castle. The Castle was great, the hotel was average at best. No lift ( elevators). People were friendly. Food was good. Location is great. Wish there was a good BnB nearby.

This was the only hotel in Inveraray we hadn't stayed at and reading of renovations done we booked a mini honeymoon break 3 nights for 2. If I could just rate the staff it would be 5 stars. The food was excellent 5 stars. However the rooms let it down. Very little has been spent on them and room 104...
