A superb apartment with loads of room. Ver cosy with a well equipped kitchen. Forgot to take bathroom pics, nice walk in shower. All staff in the cafe are extremely pleasant and friendly. My 3rd stay at Brambles and can't wait to return.
Popped in here for a coffee after a recommendation from a lady in the Day Today shop, I was NOT disappointed. I was told by the lady, it was the best coffee in town, so had to try it. The lady behind the counter ( Karen ?) Was absolutely incredible. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Our server ( Leanne ? ) was so friendly and thorough. Thankyou for warming up these old bones and making me so welcome. I will be returning
Just B&B for us this time, but my wife selected a perfect place to break our journey from Fife, en route to the Islay Ferry. Very pleasant staff in a very picturesque county town on the Argyll peninsula. The Bistro section of this hotel was fully booked for dinner when we arrived, so we were recommended the George Hotel, where we were served a great meal later that evening. What has changed in Scotland, since I last lodged in a Hotel in midwinter, is that the heating is kept ON, throughout the night. After a quality Breakfast from an excellent menu the next morning, we were on our way to Kennacraig and the Islay Ferry. My wife had prebooked a room to break our journey back to Fife' As it transpired the Ferry back from Islay, had been delayed by two hours, which meant a night time drive in 'Hairy' road conditions to Inveraray. Because of this delay, our friends had to book a hotel further north. I point worth remembering, when travelling in Scotland in mid winter, where Ferries are in the mix. (Note:- Adverse weather conditions, Ferry breakdowns and Road conditions can seriously damage your holiday!) But seriously, this a lovely part of Scotland well worth the journey and rest assured we'll be back before long probably during the Spring or Summer months.…
Two day overnight stay in the Lochview Apartment. Very comfortable two bedroom apartment, large kitchen/sitting room with open fire to compliment the central heating system. Flat screen TV and plenty of books to pass the time. Fantastic views of Loch Fyne from kitchen and living room windows. Very good value for money.
Popped in for a quick unscheduled breakfast this morning. What a wonderful welcome and excellent service from both Leanne and Karen. Highly recommend both the service and the hearty food available. Well worth a visit.
First time at this accommodation and would return . We wouldn’t rate it as a deluxe twin but very clean and comfortable . First night bathroom very cold and we couldn’t get the radiator/towel rail to work. Didnt want to disturb anyone so waited until morning. Asked about it at breakfast and hadn’t really sat down when we were told it was fixed, wee button underneath. Staff are lovely and friendly and we had a laugh about my “coffee cup” 😂 Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice . Recommend a visit
We stayed at The Brambles in the Garden Suite for a night on our way to Kennacraig to catch a ferry over to Islay. The accommodation was lovely and spacious with good quality decoration, with a perfect layout. As I was staying with my father, we could have a separate bedroom each, and it was nice having a lounge area to relax in. It was also very reasonably priced. We had breakfast the following morning in the cafe, and had a very warm welcome from Molly and her colleague. Coffee was also excellent! We would definitely return, if we’re up this way again. Thank you all!
We had a lovely family lunch here in picturesque Inveraray. Definitely recommend. We had goats cheese salad, chowder, crab and soup of the day and everyone was happy. Service friendly and atmosphere is charming with lots of nice art around as well
Very comfortable accommodation situated in the heart of Inveraray. Breakfast was excellent and served in the cafe next to the accommodation. Parking is available on the road outside ( which can be busy) or in the council car parks at either end, and was very reasonable for an overnight stay
Very pleasant cafe, nicely set out offering great food and drink. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to locate in the town of Inveraray. We were advised to try the cafe by some friendly local people.
