We stayed at the Hotel for a Birthday treat. The hotel has been sympathetically upgraded and decorated. The rooms are very hot, even with the windows open and heating off. Think it would be unbearable in summer. They supplied a fan but it did not work, nor did the room phone.

Dear Claire, Thank you so much for taking the time to contact me, my apologies for the delay in responding I have just returned from annual leave. Guest feedback really is vital to help us achieve and exceed our guest expectations. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for your super comments about our refurbished rooms, and indeed Lazlo my restaurant manager, he will be thrilled. Please accept my sincere apologies however for the service issues you experienced in our restaurant, I will of course address this with my food services manager immediately, indeed our restaurant can get very busy however this should be managed a lot better. I will also speak with my Head Chef with regards to the goujons as this is clearly unacceptable. Claire Thank you again for your feedback, and I look forward to welcoming you back to Loch Fyne in the future. Kind regards Marc Gardner General Manager
