The hotel is right on the shore of the Loch, and is very grand and impressive from outside. The reception staff were always very friendly as were the bar staff in the lounge (especially the man with red hair who was so helpful and friendly, and gave us a free starter as they had run out of our options -...

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend in February and had a lovely break so decided to book the hogmanay package while we were there. As a treat, I booked one of the hotels junior suites which cost nearly £1000 for a three night DBB break (£60 more expensive than a standard room). I was a little horrified...

I spent a most enjoyable 3 nights here. The food was beautifully prepared and served. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to keep everyone happy. I enjoyed the entertainment supplied by Marc, the manager, in the evenings. The Ceilidh band did well on Hogmanay, encouraging the reluctant guests to dance. However, by the end of the evening, many...

I stayed with my partner for the second year running and I must say the food was an excellent standard, restaurant's in Harrogate would have difficulty keeping up with such fresh fantastic well presented local produce. The staff were excellent and the manager Marc attentive to every customer, nothing was too much trouble, even taking customers down to Inverary to...

We were on our way (or we thought we were) to Glencoe for a girls night away. Due to the main route to Glencoe being closed we took the alternative route. After driving for quite a while on a very dark road we ended up with a burst tyre! Unable to get the spare wheel off, with no signal due...

This is the second visit to the hotel for their Xmas break. My partner and I enjoyed the 4 days in 2012 because the service, quality of food and comfort of the room were excellent value for money. I had one small grumble which was the limited range of wines available. We decided to return in 2013 and once again...
