Oban is worth a visit for it´s distillery, its seaviews, it´s ferry connections to some Isles of the inner Hebridies. There are many B&B:s and hotels at the place and also some good restaurants. The Lagganbeg Guest House which I found through trip advisor turned out to be a good choice. it is run by a nice host, George who's...

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a spur of the moment decision. Can't fault this B&B in any way; the proprietor (George) was very welcoming and helpful, the room was rather charming and quiet despite facing on to one of the routes to the town centre, breakfast was ideal (eggs on toast plus a buffet) and the location...

Excellent stay. Happy to have booked and stayed here. George was most helpful, knew all the best eateries and nothing was too much trouble. Room was very good, even the TV worked. The cleanliness was exceptional.

Very cosy and central accommodation. The host is very nice and tries to make you feel like home. There's a wide selection of food for breakfast and it is possible to have diary-free and gluten-free products if needed. The rooms are very comfortable, and clean. Very nice place!

Spotlessly clean, I especially appreciated the smell of cleanliness in my room! George and his wife, the couple running the place, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but plenty. Overall, it was excellent value for money for a two-night stay.

Nice bb, clean with tea coffee facilities and en suite. Our room was a small double nice decorated in the upper floor. Nice and soft towels. Rather small duvet for a couple. no luggage storage, we had to leave them in the train station. Early check out at 10. The location is great to explore the city, near to the...

I had debated staying here or on Mull, Oban worked well for what we were doing as we had one day trip from the mainland and one from the ferry port. It's an easy ferry trip over to Mull from Oban. This B&B was closer to town that I thought, only a couple of minutes to the start of shops,...

A really lovely B&B. A great location near to town centre. George is a great chap, informative and funny. The range for breakfast was just wonderful. Our room was quirky and spotlessly clean. Ideal for a one night stay!

We stayed for one night on our way to Mull. The room was nice and comfy, very clean and featured tea and coffee making facilities. Unfirtunately there's no private parking space and this can be an issue. I can't review breakfast ad we left early to catch our Ferry. It would have been nice to be offered a packed breakfast......but...

Host was a jolly happy fellow past retirement, he greeted us and told us where to park, as parking around the area is quiet easy but without explaining, it can be hard. Oban is a small waterfront town so from the area where Lagganbeg resides to the city center is a mere 10 minute walk (or less). The whole area...
