Parked a little bit of a walk away (at the leisure centre) but no big deal. B&B an easy walk into town. George was very welcoming and showed us to our room. Room was a little small as was bathroom but this is Scotland after all. Breakfast was very nice with good selection and baked egg/soufflé was delicious. Only feedback...

Very nice location. The rooms are little, the beds are small but comfortable. All the rooms are carefully decorated. Breakfast service is fast and you can get what you want. George is a very helpful host with a big sense of humor. Highly recommendable.

The B&B is located in the town centre but slightly far enough to get some respite from all the madness that surrounds Oban during high season. The rooms are nicely and stylishly furnished and host George is a funny, helpful and very likeable character that manages to squeeze in less than 5 minutes a tailored visit of Oban as well...

We arrived in Oban without any booking and the owner of Lagganbeg was fantastic. He has a great sense of humour, gave us tips on where to park, eat and drink. The room was on the top floor and wasn't the biggest, but was nicely set up. We didn't get on to Wifi, but then found the next morning, it...

On meeting the owner George straight away you get a warm feeling. He was friendly and helpful. The place itself is nicely decorated and was open. The room was big and light. Very clean too. We were facing a main road but you couldn't really hear it. The bathroom was lovely and big, also clean. They provide all essentials. There...

Stayed one night on our way northwards. Host (George) friendly and very helpful. Our room on the first floor, was comfortable with good en-suite facilities, plenty of hot water, powerful shower and lots of soft towels. The guesthouse is situated on a busy road although this didn't have any effect on our sleep. (comfy bed and double glazing) Breakfast was...

Very friendly, helpful host. Good breakfast. Located a short walk to ferry and shops. Excellent chocolate cafe one block away. Oban has many good seafood restaurants. Room old fashioned, small, but comfortable. Very clean surroundings. Breakfast room overflowing with cute collectibles and original art. Drawbacks were difficulty finding parking and no lounge area.

George is very helpful and personable. The rooms on the top floor are a bit cramped with limited headroom in the eaves. Unfortunately, the wi-fi signal is non-existant up top and George MUST do something about it by boosting the signal. The breakfast is most unusual - cereals, eggs and tortilla. Seeing Americans using Weetabix as a side for their...

The room was fine, on the small side but ok.The place is very clean and the bathroom was good. Some of the decor was fussy and dated. The breakfast was a little weird and described as "continental", not sure which continent you get plates of cold bacon, nuts and some sort of omelette. I was charged £79.00 for one night...
