Stay regularly in Oban, previously used accommodation had shut down so hunted around and came across Maridon. Apart from the interest of being located in a previously unseen part of Oban, which was a nice surprise, this was a really pleasant and very enjoyable large B&B. Previous reviews have suggested that rooms are small : Yes, Room 7 was certainly...

I stay here annually on my way to Iona. There is always a good welcome. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast is always plentiful and great. Good value for money and always a great stay. A short walk to the town centre, ferries and train station.

Our room was very small and cramped and the shower very dark. There was a stool with wobbly legs which we daren't sit on! The owners live in the house behind so take quite a time to answer the door. We came back from our walk to find a young couple who had been standing in the rain for ages....

Overall this was the best stay of our holiday. We stopped in the apartment for two nights. It was very very quiet and was the quietest of our holiday so we were so relieved after a tiring few nights bad rest. A lovely bath to and the water was hot very hot. Central location in Oban but away enough for...

We stayed here for one night while in Oban. The location is good, close to town and ferries, station etc. Parking was ok, although very tight to get into space. The welcome was good, nice lady showed us to our rooms. My granddaughter had a twin room and we had a double. Our room was tiny. The door on my...

Although the rooms are pretty tiny they are clean and nicely furnished. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast, omg the breakfast was absolutely amazing, freshly made and full English plus selection of cereals, fruits , diary products etc. for only 5 pounds. My only issue was with wifi that didn't reach my room.

Great B&B, fantastic location, excellent breakfast, second to none staff, more than accommodating, clean comfy beds. A wee gem of a B&B, took my elderly mother with walking difficulties she was allocated ground floor room no noise free parking and a comfortable 10 min walk to the main centre with lots of great shops and eating places.

A really nice quiet guest house in Oban, you can't miss it because it is bright blue! Satisfactory size room but clean and comfy, the bathroom was a little bit small but clean and functional. Breakfast costs an extra 5 pounds pp but was very nice.

We stayed one night on the way back from the islands. Although the room was small it was clean and had everything we needed. The staff were excellent and the breakfast superb and very quickly produced. Would definitely stay here again.
