A very good lunch - very tasty; well presented; good quantities; very attentive staff. Quite an extensive lunch menu, with lots of choice. A traditional bar with character. Yes definitely worth a visit.
This is our go to place when we haven't organised anything and we usually get a table after a very short wait. Food is consistently good and staff are very friendly. Highly recommended. Easy parking and great location. Bar could maybe do with a minor...More

we would like to visit Galashiels and stay at your hotel. my wife is a case of rheumatoid arthritis; and so is your hotel physically disabled friendly such as having wheel chair ramps. does the room have a shower stall as opposed to a shower in a bath tub and do you have a suite on the ground level as i presume you would not be having an elevator to go to the first level - she is unable to use a staircase.

I am not sure if the Hotel has any rooms downstairs. All the rooms our group had were on first and second floors. Contacting the Hotel will clarify. It is a very good hotel and the owner and staff are very helpful.
