Stayed here 3 times over the years and every time we've been impressed. Lovely spacious room with great views and very pleasant staff. Breakfast was very good and the gardens are beautifully maintained. Looking forward to a return visit at the end of the year. Photos to follow.

I stayed her for 2 nights and found the experience excellent. The guest house is slightly out of the way up a hill on the edge of town but I had no trouble finding it and it turned out to be just a short walk from the central heart of Melrose, a pleasant border town. There is ample car parking...

This was a very comfortable stay and excellent value for money. It is family run and a friendly welcome was extended. We had just one night and it was ideal for our needs. We only had limited luggage so it was not too difficult to get our small gags up to the second/attic twin room. It has a shared bathroom,...

My family has stayed here before so when returning to Hawick we booked in again. This time we had a different room that had a Conservatory, this was brilliant! It meant that we could put the children to bed and then sit up next door reading rather than having to put the lights out. It also meant that we had...

Stayed here 5th July 2014 and all was perfect. Anne and David and daughter are all very lovely people, our daughter loved to have a friend to play with. Our room was massive and bathroom just as big, we had a brilliant nights sleep, bed was very comfortable. In the morning our breakfast was amazing ( thanks Anne) We hope...

Bike friendly B&B in the centre of the Borders, surrounded by excellent roads and a local pub/restaurant almost next door. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable rooms and more bike cover planned in the near future.

After a one night stay in January my wife and I returned for a long weekend and were warmly greeted by Bill ( whom in my previous review I wrongly called "Bob" -- sorry!). We were again given Room 1 with its large bedroom and equally large adjoining conservatory which this time the sun had heated during the day and...

Stayed overnight for a family birthday and our room was huge and our bathroom was the same. Some family members didn't get the accommodation they expected and one room didn't have a bathroom in it. The guest house is large and we found it very cold when we arrived at around 4pm but it possibly is very hard to heat....

We were down in Hawick overnight for a relative's funeral and chose here for its excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. After a wee bit bother trying to find it in the dark, using Tom Tom, we were given a very warm welcome by Bob (a gentleman if ever there was one) and taken to Room No. 1. It was enormous with...

Visited by chance, for 1 night on our leisurely way back out of Scotland and could easily have stayed longer. Hopehill House is an exceptional b&b, full of character, clean and very comfortable. The owners are very obliging, informative and have an easy-going approach. The breakfast was excellant and plentiful. The general area is a hidden gem and is well...
