The gypsy style caravan experience is indeed very magical and the caravans are clean equipped and tidy. When we went to the retreat it was unfortunately very over grown and neglected so looked nothing like the photographs we had seen on the website. The little pond was so over grown we couldn't see it and you couldn't easily wander around...

My partner and I had discussed taking a glamping holiday for some time. We both have a passion for travel and nature but are often limited as to just how far off the beaten track we can go as we both rely on public transport. With glamping becoming so popular, it's also difficult to find somewhere appealing that has availability...

Roulotte Retreat is certainly a calming and romantic hideaway that you just have to embrace. You are warmly welcomed by Avail and Alan that show you around the natural meadow to your chosen roulotte once they ensure you are happy they slip away. You know they are there if needed but you are left to your own little bit of...

We have just returned from a blissful 3 nights at the Roulotte Retreat Our roulotte was called Zenaya, & she had everything you could wish for. She was cosy & snug, with a gorgeously comfortable big bed, & a lovely shower - 2 very important plus points in my book ! Would have loved to have stoked up the wood-burner...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it is the most relaxing chilled out place ever. Loved the eco hot tub although getting the right temperature could be a bit of a hit or a miss. A total laid back get away from it all weekend. Walk to Melrose great bit steep in places but worth it for it's a lovely...

Just spent a fantastic weekend in Zenya. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the roulottes. We walked into Melrose and back along St Cuthburts path through the hill on Saturday in the sunshine. A fantastic relaxing weekend in beautiful surroundings. I can't wait to return!

What can we say that hasn't already ? A hidden oasis that everyone must visit , beautiful original gypsy caravans that are so quaint , cosy & very romantic . The bed is SO comfy , the shower awesome & the wee wood burner is just delightful as you get lost in watching the flames . You have no idea...

Booked 3 nights after our wedding for a mini-moon, in a roulotte with eco hot tub. The accommodation was fantastic, really well designed and had everything you need to cook up a full breakfast in the morning. The surrounding overgrown meadow was wonderfully peaceful and private, and the deck a lovely area to enjoy a glass of wine in the...

What to say about staying in Rosa Bella?! Just lovely and cosy inside and it was definitely cosy, having shared it with 3 other friends. Inside there is just about everything you could possibly need for your break. There is a bedroom and a bed within a sort of cupboard space in the kitchen with only a curtain to separate...

Stayed here 3 nights and enjoyed it. Quiet tranquil and natural surroundings - they were a little overgrown in places around the pond but again very natural. Only saw the owner Alan on arrival but he was very helpful and we knew where they were if we needed them. It was our guess that they maybe prefer not to bother...
