This was our first experience of Scotland and it was amazing. From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the time we left - we felt special and were treated that way. Our room was extremely clean, modern. comfortable and cozy with a great view. The restaurant served the most amazing breakfasts and dinners. We had dinner the first...

We stayed here for one night as part of a Living Social voucher, the greeting was really friendly and we had a lovely cream tea in the Adams room. There are stunning walks all near the hotel, we spent the second day mountain biking in Glentress which is a must visit if you are taking bikes. We also dined at...

Tontine hotel is right in the heart of Peebles and great for a base. it has great access to the town through the main door, and onto the Tweed through the back door ! We stayed on a B&B basis and the breakfast was excellent. Room was very comfortable, we both had excellent sleeps, and the bathroom was evidently recently...

Stayed here for one night, the staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble, room was comfortable although bed was a little firm for my liking, bathroom modern with gorgeous warm fluffy towels, power shower was excellent, a good range of products, although I didn't use them. We have visited this attractive hotel on several occasions and continue to be surprised by their capacity for self-improvement. Four couples made up the party and there was great appreciation of the staff who were exceptionally attentive: with detail to the fore e.g. the accompaniments to adorn the fresh porridge were really impressive Each breakfast was so fresh while the...

Revisited yesterday and had the "Lazy Sunday" offer. Offer included B&B + Lunch or dinner with wine each. Room was recently refurbished to a very nice standard and had a lovely review of the river. Staff without exception were first class and breakfast was excellent. Peebles itself is a lovely market town and we'll return very soon.

Last time cream tea and prosecco in front of a roaring fire; this time sipping a nice red in our room while enjoying the view over the Tweed. We're pretty versatile, and we fit in well in this hotel. We were welcomed like old friends - as was our dog. The 'Pride and Prejudice' elegance of the Adam dining room...

Greated warmly at reception. Our room was a bit shabby but comfortable. We had a cream tea which was very nice and the service was great. Evening dinner was fantastic, but the choice was a little limited. Again the service was first rate. Slept well on the huge bed.

We arrived at this wonderful Hotel built in 1808. Situated on the High Street in Peebles I was please to find plenty of private parking space. Originally for a two night stay, but we extended it to four nights as we enjoyed it so much. The staff at this Hotel are exemplary, service first class. We treated ourselves to the...
