We stayed at the Tontine on the first night of a trip to the West Coast of Scotland - absolutely fabulous location, really attentive staff and a 40th birthday card to boot. What more could a guy ask for. I'd highly recommend staying here if you're in the town.

We had a great time at Tontine. We recently had to say goodbye to one of our dogs so I decided to look and see if any hotels took dogs so we could go for a night away to spoil our other dog. I found Tontine online and they were really helpful when I phoned up to see if there...

Thank you "Chris F" delighted to learn we are "first choice". Great recommendation for the Glentress MTB trails. Our refurbishment programme is "on-going" and yes, with any building over 200 years old, although showing its age, we are continuing to improve, replace and renew while keeping true to the original character of the hotel. Look forward to your next visit....
