Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Hetland Hall Hotel stands out for its immaculate cleanliness and the luxurious comfort of its rooms, which guests frequently laud for their spaciousness and tasteful decoration. While the service receives mixed reviews, oscillating between praise for its professionalism and criticism for occasional neglect, the hotel's sophisticated atmosphere is generally admired. However, light sleepers might find the bar music bothersome. The amenities are widely appreciated, though some travelers note the beverage selection could improve. While the hotel is considered good value, the restaurant's pricing has left some diners wanting.

Fancy place with great rooms and great meals and staff. The rooms are beautiful and quiet and the parking is provided. Meals and service in the dining room are exquisite both dinner and breakfast - this is a must stay in your travels. Try the fish pie!!!!Mmmmmm

We used a voucher that our son had given us for Christmas and did a DB&B deal we booked the Honeymoon suite and it was gorgeous the evening meal was delicious. We then moved through to the lounge to sit cosily by the open fire but unfortunately they had a leak above the bar area and the water was dripping through one of the roof lights onto the floor, so we were asked to move to another lounge that they opened for us but unfortunately even though they turned on the heat when we went in it was so cold that we just couldn't sit in it and went back to the reception area and had our drink there. We then tried the other lounge again about 1/2 an hour later this time wearing our jumpers it was still to cold so we got another couple of drinks each and went back to our room as being a suite had a lovely sitting area in it. But my husband noticed that at the other fancier lounge we were charged more for the same 2 drinks yes it was only 90p more per round but it was more the fact that they moved us there then charged extra for the privilege. No one sat in the fancier lounge as it was far to cold i think most people went to their rooms. Overall the stay was great the staff were lovely, we understand these things happen and was outwithbtheir control but to charge us extra for drinks under the circumstances they could have given us them for free or charged the same price as the smaller lounge not more

Stayed at Hetland Hall as part of an Itison DB&B deal. Recently injured my leg so should have requested an accessible room when booking but hadn’t done that. When we arrived we were initially given a room on second floor with no elevator. When speaking to reception they quickly moved us to another room on the ground floor which was absolutely stunning. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and very busy. Cannot recommend the Bang Bang Chicken started enough, so good! We had breakfast to the room the next day which was really tasty too. The hotel decor is to a very high standard and modern. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight and will be sure to return again. Thank you Hetland Hall.

To say the staff were attentive is an understatement. I’ve travelled to many places with 5 star reputations and I have to say without doubt that the staff this weekend 16th-17th Feb 2024 were exceptional. I witnessed this not only in the service I received but also at the surrounding tables especially those with children. Well done and I hope this message gets passed onto the management. On top of the great service the rooms we had were spotless and the food was brilliant. Breakfast was excellent and I will be back.

The greatest and most remarkable Valentine's Day present ever. The rooms were incredibly large, exquisitely furnished, and exuded an opulent, spotless feel. in a stunning setting. The large Jacuzzi bathrooms felt, quite literally, like they belonged in a seven-star hotel. I was reluctant to go. I had the tastiest bacon I have ever had for breakfast. Unquestionably worth the cost.

Stayed in the solway suite for 1 night. Very good value for money at £279 for DBB. Suite was very nice, comfortable bed, lounge area and phenomenal bathroom. Food wasn’t the best. Burger was very compressed making it rubbery. Breakfast was OK. Previously stayed in the Balmoral suite at Dalmeny park which we preferred and had better food. Would definitely return to this hotel or any other RAD hotel. They’re doing a lot the way it should be done.

We had a quick over night on. D&BB deal this is amazing value, the decor, is beautiful, Rad group are clearly investing. Food was wonderful in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, plus great prices in the bar. Would highly recommend it on our deal experience.

We were lucky enough to have just stayed at Hetland Hall with our 3 yo for 2 nights. One night we had booked the family deluxe room and family kindly booked us the night before however this room was a suite which was absolutely huge and stunningly decorated as was our family room. Unfortunately our 3 year old took unwell with tonsillitis this resulted in attending the local hospital out of hours service. The staff were all absolutely exceptional in dealing with our family, they made sure we swapped rooms earlier than expected and even brought our breakfast to our room which was very much last minute and unplanned. Staff did this with no fuss and consistently asked if there was anything else they could do. Our little one was asked how he was feeling by staff and he felt super important. All food was delicious both evening meals and breakfast. Our every need was met and even under the circumstances we had a lovely 2 night stay and will definitely be back. What better way to recuperate than in luxury with your mum and dad catering to your every need. Staff really went above and beyond and it will be forever appreciated by our family.

Would highly recommend the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and bed comfy. Food was delicious and the bar prices were very reasonable. We had a January DB&B deal which was excellent value but even at normal prices the hotel would be worth it.
