We stayed at the Mabie House Hotel for the first time with our little boy, for a couple of nights in January. What a great find! The hotel is absolutely stunning with beautifully proportioned rooms, wooden paneling and lots of original features such as the windows and coving. The scenery is amazing and so peaceful. Our room was as big...

Wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable but what really makes the place is its excellent setting and views and the helpful staff who can't do enough for you. Great food and a great place to combine biking/walking in the forest with relaxation afterwards.

A very friendly and welcome place to stay. The hotel is situated in stunning grounds and offers easy access to so many activities whether walking or mountain biking. The food is a very high standard and at a good price. It's not just a typical pub menu but well thought of and very tasty. The rooms are a good size...

Chris is a star, and his friendliness one of the reasons we booked here. We ate in the bar both nights and can't fault the food, great presentation and flavours to match, chef very helpful....

Booked this hotel through Late Rooms.com to be called by the hotel more than 24hours later at 9.40pm at night to be told there was no room available. I was furious as Sam the person who called me was not even sure how I had booked the hotel as all she was given was my name and number and was...
