My husband and I spent the weekend here. It is a lovely old hotel with antique and elegant furniture and furnishings. We had a lovely bedroom to the back with a good view to the woods. There were a few complaints about the kitchen. We waited for 30mins after ordering our cooked breakfasts. We were given a cracked water jug at dinner...

We have just returned from a golfing weekend at "The Cally" and have to say that it wasn't up to its usual standards. We have been coming to the hotel for over 14years and have to date found everything to be of a high quality. However the food was not up to the usual quality, several members of our group...

I booked this hotel for 4 nights as an anniversary present for my wife on a bbem basis. The Hotel is old style majestic with a high standard of finish in the common rooms and dining hall. I booked a deluxe room which was a good size and very clean but a bit dated. Clients tend to be of an...

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 20 years and keep returning as it offers a little bit of peace and relaxation at a reasonable cost. We would always have given a 5/5 but we feel a 4/5 is fair at this time. On this occasion we booked the Spring Break which included reduced rates for...

The restaurant was set out nicely with lovely clean white tablecloths. The service was very good and the staff were all very friendly and polite. It was such a lovely birthday surprise. It is such...

The hotel looks like a former stately home and is set in its own grounds remote from the main roads. The grand facade is matched inside with large classical rooms and decoration throughout. The peace and quiet was a joy. Food was excellent and the plentiful staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. I did not get the chance to play...

Although you can bring a dog your pet is not allowed in any public area except one table in the foyer. Also they don't want you to leave your dog in your room. So a nice little earner but a tad disingenuous. Dining room tired but staff were nice. Leisure centre brilliant

We have just spent a lovely few hours at this Hotel, on arrival at reception we were warmly welcomed by Joanne, we first went and used the facilities being the swimming pool, jacuzzi etc followed by afternoon tea, popular today with the tables that were set out and we weren't disappointed, the choice and quantity was very good and more...

The first sighting of the gateway to this property already gives you a clue to how grand Cally Palace is going to be. Then followed by a woodland driveway carrying you to spotting in the distance a superb mansion overlooking either the golf course. or woodland gardens. From reception to leaving this hotel, staff are both friendly and efficient. Most...
