Comfortable sized double room and a lovely breakfast included. I have book to stay here again this week, fair price for what you get and lovely staff who can help with all enquiries. Gretna is a wonderful town with lots to do and see, great location.

Booked an over night stay here on an offer site, £89 for an over night stay, 2 course dinner and breakfast. From the outside everything looked ok, but then you see the add on building to the main hall which looked very outdated and not within keeping of the look of the original hall. In to the reception which had...

Thank you Cara for your detailed review, There's some quite mixed feedback here. First and foremost, thank you for your kind comments about our staff, breakfast and fish & chips! With regard to our standards of accommodation, there are a few areas where we may look a little tired. That being said, our staff work extremely hard to ensure we...

This was a xmas party night, the hotel in general is clean and tidy. The food we had was not the best but that is to be expected I suppose on these theme nights. The bar prices were reasonable and the bar staff were friendly and polite, pity you couldn't say the same about the waiting staff.

Thank you for your review, Clearly we have some mixed feedback here. While I'm pleased to see we remained presentable and affordable, the fact our meals/service fell below your expectations is disappointing. I can assure you that your feedback has been shared with our team and will no doubt provide invaluable as we continue to look for ways to further...

Came here in December for our 10th wedding anniversary where we were married, hasn't changed much since we were last here, beautiful grounds and very traditional feel to it, we were upgraded for free and our dinner table was decorated beautifully and a glass of bubbly! We stayed in one of the bridal suites, lovely decor huge four poster bed...

We took advantage of a deal which included a 3 course meal and weren`t disappointed. Decided to upgrade to the Queensborough Suite which is a large room with a four poster bed with a large bathroom with a great free standing bath. The bedroom is old style which makes it a little dark but very cosy. The hotel is steeped...

Stayed here for two nights at the end of December and was pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable rates for bed and breakfast. Very welcoming helpful staff. Warm and cosy room. Hotel clean through out. I enjoyed a Christmas cocktail in the bar and rang after I returned home to ask for the recipe and the person I spoke to was only...

Husband and I stayed here, last minute decision, got married here 10 years ago and felt the urge to return. Slightly disappointed :-( For such a beautiful Hotel and the Wedding services it provides, it has become very tired and looks a bit tacky and old. Bar menu was disappointing, only 3 main choices and I'm afraid not very well...

Well looked after with a great value bed and breakfast and delicious 3 course meal for an excellent price. Would certainly stay again - especially interesting as they are in the process of being updated.

We had originally booked another hotel in the area, but were not impressed with the service we had received when trying to arrange a late check out and bridal hair and makeup.
