Myself and my now husband and our closest friends and family traveled to gretna for our wedding we stayed from the Friday till the Sunday and could not fault the hotel one bit! Whilst my stay here was good value for the offer price I obtained, the overall experience was nothing special. We received a pleasant welcome and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. We have been here a few times and have not been disappointed yet. Room was ideal, food excellent and staff very friendly. Gretna Outlet Village in close proximity. Handy for exploring Lake District. A must in the future!

our work decided to have our xmas party here on friday for one of there special xmas party nights, it was fantastic. the food was really good (soup very very peppery though) yorkshire puds were huge and home made. entertainment was perfect. we were quite a young group but felt very welcomed by the staff. they even changed the cheese...

Went here for night out and an overnight and as usual it was a fantastic night as great food and entertainment. The staff are all very friendly which helps and the rooms have been recently updated so all very new looking.

We were married here and decided to return and celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and great value. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds to this hotel are idyllic. We visited in March when it was snowing and this just added to the beauty. The Gretna Green Famous Blacksmith is a short walk away....

Just wanted an overnight place to sleep and the price was right, but we were amazed at the standard of the food, both dinner and breakfast. Pleasant and helpful staff, comfortable, adequate accommodation. We will be back!!

Just returned from a tinsel and turkey 5 day trip with coach company. The hotel looked lovely as we pulled up in the coach log fires burning in reception and in the bar/ lounge. We were soon to find out that this hotel is not for winter stay all the main areas including the dinning room were freezing. The only...
