The food was lovely and a 5star breakfast delivered to our room the next morning extra charge but considering how heavy the trays were the...

Returning to Gretna Green after 18 years, I was greatly disappointed in the poor state we found this once grand hotel. The grounds are still lovely for picture taking, especially for newly weds, but the rooms have stayed behind in development. Although we didn't use the bridal suites, the normal rooms are in bad need of a 21st century make-over;...

Was in the Gretna with a coach party last week and can say everyone enjoyed it. The rooms were clean and tidy, beds were a little to soft but that was my opinion others liked it. Very friendly staff with nothing to much trouble and was sorted straight away. Meals in the evening was very good and delivered hot, and...

This hotel looks the part with plenty of character, however there are some major problems which are not immediately apparent until you get to your room. We had one of the refurbished rooms and although it was nicely decorated and had all the usual facilities, it still had some work required to bring it up to the standard you would...

We had a 2 night stay in June this year, for a friends wedding, which was at another hotel. Check in was smooth and hassle free, the room was nothing special, but it was more than adequate. the bar area is getting a bit tired looking, we only used the dining room for breakfast, which was a buffet. there was...
