The best thing about this B&B was the lady who ran it. Deyla was an absolute treasure, she couldn't do enough for you and made us very welcome. I did help that she was a Ukulele nut like me but even so it was a great place to stay. She didn't do a "cooked breakfast' as standard but that was...

A couple of nights should have been extended a week. The place is the nicest we stayed in Scotland in such a lovely, artsy town. The artistic host made our stay marvelous. We will return when we make our next trip to Scotland.

We had a large room with comfortable beds for us three. Everything was very clean. It's a nice house, quiet but not far from the town centre. The landlady was very friendly and helpful, and we got a good continental breakfast.

Ideal one night stay when attending a function in town. Great comfortable room for the three of us. As I was struggling with a back problem Delta kindly provided microwave in reception area to heat up wheat bag at various points in evening. Also cuddly toys for our son. Breakfast was great and added to by view and excitement of...

We stayed one night in the Burn's room. The room was large, comfortable and spotless - couldn't fault it. There were lovely views from the window looking out over the town and the sunset was beautiful. Deyla, the landlady, was very welcoming and there were lots of homey touches, milk in the fridge in the dinning area, books to read...

Chattan House was lovely, clean bright and welcoming. Ms Wilkinson was a fab hostess and very very helpful. Breakfast was nicely presented and relaxed, just enough to set you up till lunch. Would stay again.

Large clean en-suite rooms. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Quite a hike up a hill if on foot, but the views from the veranda make it worth the trek. A pick up from the town center is available on request. We did not know about it on arrival, but we were given a lift back into town on the morning of...

We stayed in the burns room and it was big, spacious and bright with en-suite and tea/coffee facilities in room, plus a stunning view over Kirkcudbright. “There are only 2 rooms available, our one did not have an en suit but the other one did so we had sole access to the bathroom. The B and B facilities are all on the ground floor so no one else was using this bathroom. Our family stayed in the other room which was nice too, the en suit was quite small compared to the large bathroom (with shower).”
