We stayed for four, and the Elephant nights in this delightful Victorian accommodation and enjoyed every minute, from the decor to the spot.lessly clean standards throughout the propert.y only topped by a first class breakfast which kept us going for most of the day. We wanted to explore the Galloway region and found this an excellent central location and the...

Thank you to both Alastair and Olive who are absolutely brilliant hosts. We stayed whilst down visiting a friend who lives in the town and I am so glad we picked here. Very tasty breakfast, extremely clean rooms, comfy beds and great showers. I hope to visit again with my other half. I hope they both enjoy the well deserved...

The owners could not have been more helpful and accomodating. Really nice people that have their customers needs at heart. Whats more I never realised just how beautiful the countryside was around Kirkcudbright.

Stayed overnight on business. Run efficiently by a friendly and helpful couple who directed me where to eat. Decent wifi and clean spacious room in old period house. Well organised and pleasant breakfast. The owners appear to enjoy their jobs as hosts which is great to see!

Really enjoyed our stay and the personal friendly service. Room 4 is a spacious comfortable quiet double room overlooking the garden at the back of the house. Ample parking around the back but quite a narrow entrance so many guests seemed to prefer parking on the road, which is wide and quiet. In any case all parking in Kirkudbright is...

The Anchorlee is not in the center of town, but it is only a short walk to the restaurants, pubs, harbor, and castle. We actually were glad...
