Great location, large, well-appointed room, absolutely nothing to criticise about the room, en-suite etc. Also excellent value! Good breakfast of local produce. Very sociable hosts, good recommendation for evening meal from Danny.

Danny and Anita are excellent hosts, offering a warm welcome to the beautiful property on a quiet road opposite the tennis courts and bowling green, but within walking distance of all town amenities. The rooms are really comfortable with a full length mirror(really appreciated), TV, hairdryer, excellent tea/coffee and biscuits tray and bathrooms supplied with complimentary toiletries. There is a very good selection of food offered at breakfast and I can recommend the smoked haddock with poached egg especially. Danny and Anita went" above and beyond" the normal expectations by chilling overnight the haggis I had bought to take home with me Thank you so much.

Arrived a bit earlier than predicted. Very friendly and helpful owner greeted us. The property had private parking at the rear. Rooms very comfortable and a nice lounge area for guests. Good recommendation for local eatery and advice to book which we did. Short walk down quiet road, past tennis courts and green areas into town. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of options. Only one night as breaking up a journey to the Highlands and would definitely recommend and use again for next trip.

Stayed here for one night to break a long journey to Scotland. Hosts were very welcoming. Our room (#6) was small but spotlessly clean and well equipped, fine for an overnight stay but maybe a little restrictive if staying longer. Finding Tunnocks biscuits on the hospitality tray was a real plus! However, the bed was small and a little hard, the television was tiny, the bathroom was small and the over-bath shower was weak. There is a residents lounge on the first floor with plenty of comfortable seating, television and reading materials with a view over the park. Breakfast was ordered the day before and was excellent - good quality food, attentive service and great coffee. The location is very good, only a short walk to town or you can take a longer route beside the river. We would definitely stay here again.
