We stopped off at Bridge House for an evening, great from start to finish! Excellent host, lovely clean room, spot on breakfast! Not to mention the best electric shower ever used on our travels! Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Moffat!

A wonderful place to stay. Carol could not have been more helpful and friendly. The location in Well Road is quite and peaceful. You can walk a mile up to the top of the road where the well, which made Moffat famous,is situated. A lovely place to stay. 5 star recommend.

This was the perfect place to stay to break the journey south. We were made most welcome, and were given good advice about places to eat. We chose a smaller room, but it was more than adequate for an overnight stay. First class.

Stayed at Bridge House for one night whilst attending a local wedding. Received a lovely welcome from Carol who was kind enough to arrange a taxi for us to the wedding venue. She really was a lovely host and made us feel right at home. Woke the next day to an amazing cooked breakfast which set us up for the...

Spent five nights at this B and B. Chose to stay in the superior room. It was a reasonable size and the ensuite was great - excellent shower, good lighting and no shortage of mirrors. Breakfast each morning was cooked to perfection and Carol was the perfect host.

We were just spending one night in Moffat on our way home from further north. The bed was comfortable and our room had everything we needed, although if we had been staying longer and wanted to really unpack we would have found it rather cramped. Ditto for the shower room. However, we were told we could use the lounge, a...

We stayed for two nights as a rest day from walking the Southern Upland Way. We had a beautiful room with double aspect and the house itself was lovely. Main issue for us was that the weather was very inclement and being a very big property, was very cold/ no heating on at all. As we were soaked to the...

Exactly what you should expect from a British B&B! We experienced a lovely warm welcome from our host who was accommodating and helpful with her recommendations on what to see and do in Moffat. The room was lovely and neat and tidy. Breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend this B&B when you're next in Moffat.

I have stayed in a few B&B's in the past with mixed results so I was quite apprehensive in advance. I obviously need not have worried as the rooms were of the highest quality, well kept and offered some amazing views. This was also matched by the warm welcome and service on offer form the proprietors of Bridge House, who...
