I would not recommend this place to anyone. We received a cold welcome, very poor service and there was no ambience to speak of. There was a very annoying waitress who kept banging the plates and cups down on the tables, and kept yelling out across the room. We will never return.

Went for a bar meal in the early evening. Good choice of eats and gluten free options. Also half portions available up to a certain time. Service was excellent, very efficient and friendly. Food was good and will go back again. Only thing I wasn't so keen on was the lighting, which was cold and stark. Apart from that was...

Good location for Squash club. Staff very friendly. We had to go outside to get our room. Very noisy as right on street. Room was clean . No biscuits tho with tea or coffee in room. Good food. Advise you to book Italian restaurant if you want to eat there.

Having visited here for my mother in laws birthday, I could not fault this place. The staff were friendly and obliging and very good with our boisterous 2 boys. The food was of a good standard and service was quick. The steak pie was very good and a winner in my view. Sharing platter starter was also a winner. Overall...

Stayed 2 nights in room 51. Turns out to be a ground floor family room: 1 double, 2 singles, large modern bathroom with a separate shower cubical. A small, 2 seat sofa (odd for a room for 4!) facing a tv (blocking out the light from the window.) (One of two tvs). A hanging space, rather than a wardrobe (not...

We went there for a quick evening meal, but instead of getting charred grilled chicken with sweet and sour sauce my husband got Sweet and Sour Chicken Goujons. My husband is Celiac and never orders anything with batter!! As we were in a hurry he left the batter and tried to eat the chicken only. When paying the bill we...

Started well with a parking ticket as no where to park. Friday and Saturday night is party night for every loud person in Broughty ferry to party and shout outside in the street until the early hours ... do not stay here if you want a relaxing break ... I am writing this at 2am and there is no sign...

Good for a weekday stay but being above a bar I would not recommend for the weekend. Being earplugs either way. Food was cheap and massive portions. Room was clean and modern. Only 4 car spaces but meter parking across the road. Breakfast is hot food only (no fruit, cereal or yogurts). Generally a nice hotel and good value for...

Up market establishment consists of Hotel with Bar and cocktail lounge. It is also the location of award winning Italian restaurant the Borgataro (reservation advised). Located in central Broughty Ferry is very popular with locals and holiday makers. At weekend normally open until 2.00 a.m. (dance floor). Bar lunchex served throughout they day and restaurant open at nights.
