The rooms were filthy and shabby, needs re decorated to say the least. The room smelt like cigarettes, The carpets had holes all over and the bed sheets and curtains looked Un clean. The wardrobe door fell off when we touched it and the iron press fell off the wall as soon as we touched it. The shower was in...

Our party of 3 Adults and 2 kids turned up last minute for High Tea on Sunday 27th July the restaurant was very quiet , don't know why as the staff were great , food was excellent more than enough on plates also all cakes were hand made. Would definitely recommend giving it a try.

I am not normally one to negativly comment on things, however I find it hard to find anything about this hotel that comes across well. I will give credit where credit is due though, the young lady on reception when I arrived was very pleasant and helpfull. the first thing I noticed on arrival was the tatty facade and rather...

We were using a voucher for the restaurant and gave Hungry Marys (hotel restaurant name) a try. The place was empty but dining room lovely and staff very friendly. After ordering it took a while for food to arrive but it was worth it. The burgers are hand made and very tasty. Kids got a lovely meal too. Overall very...

My partner and I aren't snobs but we do appreciate a suitable place to stay on the rare occasions we get away... The pictures I saw of the hotel looked nice however this was not the case once we got there. The room we had was terrible. Holes in the floor boards and carpet, plug sockets that don't work. Beds...

Arrived late Saturday evening after getting lost numerous times. Not the easiest place to find. Receptionist was lovely, Stacey. Unfortunately apart from the food, which was good, the rest of our stay was terrible. The room was tired, dated and grubby with old chipped furniture, curtains hanging off the curtain pole, threadbare carpet and mouldy shower. We were also directly...

Stayed one night, that was enough. I think this hotel is more like a workmens hotel. The decor is very dated. The carpet and the floor both had a hole in it. The wallpaper torn, bathroom door had a hole in it, the lobby wall had a hole in it, end of curtain pole fell off when I opened the...
